New babies being born right now!!!!
Never seen it happen during the day! I've only counted 5 so far, but she's giving birth in the hide box and I don't want to bug her. I managed to snap a pic of a baby before it darted away though. Crazy. I don't know why I even checked on her, I just had a feeling!

Thanks a lot!!
I'll try and get a full litter shot later tonight. She had a small litter last year too (10) so I'm hoping for more, but I can only count 5 right now. Her head is peering out of the hide box and not much is happening. I'll keep you posted.

They just keep streaming out of this hide box. I caught one resting near the Mum.

Ended up being 17 in total...
So 7 more than last year's litter. She gets the year off next year. I'll post a mass-baby shot as soon as they all calm down.

Thanks........
Yeah Backdraft, they are larger (I think). My cheapo-scale is in units of 10 so I really can't tell if they are larger than the last litter, but it really looks like it!
This is the best mass-shot I could muster up. They are simply too nuclear to keep a handle on!

Yeah.....
They're cute until they nail you on the back of the hand 3 times in 2 seconds. Then, they're just annoying! LOL! :-)
