Is this behavior normal?

Hello! I've had my BP for about a year, he's 3 yrs old. He's always been very active, eats very well, enclosure is fantastic. (he seems to be happy with it) He ate a large live rat as usual about 2 weeks ago, no issues. Well about a week ago he started staying balled up in basically the same spot, not moving around much to speak of. It's just not like him. Everything else is normal with him and around him, in other words, no reason to be staying like he is. He usually looks for me to get him out of the enclosure, almost everyday. A friend of mine says Phobos (my BP) is probably just hibernating. I don't know. Also, Phobos, over the past 3-4 days looked like he was getting ready to shed. The last time i had him out, he had the pink belly and the last 2 days his eyes were clouded over. So naturally I thought any day now he'd shed. Well I just looked in his cage and he doesn't even look like he needs to shed anymore...but he hasn't shed! What in the world could be going on? PLease, any help would be appreciated. I'm just still so new to this. Just trying to be the best snake mom I can be. Thanks!

The eyes go normal than within a day they shed so look for a shed shortly.

Also, the snake is just being a ball python. I wouldn't worry about it.
