Baby Garter Identify questions.

Hello I was wondering if anyone can help me identify a baby Garter snake. We just adopted her, she is wild caught. I am assuming she/he is a common one, but the marking are odd. Thank you for any help.

That looks like Dekay’s brown snake or possibly a red-bellied snake. Red-bellied snakes sometimes look a lot like a Dekay’s but will have a red belly.

It’s not a garter.
