2017 Piebald
One of the hatchlings out of my latest clutch that hatched out 2/28/17. She has the cutest little smiling emoji / pumpkin face as part of her patterning. Thought it was rather interesting.

Thanks TB! She is quite the character, during her first meal she struck at the hopper and missed and got a mouthful of carefresh and cypress mulch.

This brings up a question: It appears that there is only a little bit of the substrate in there with the paper towel. Is there a reason for that like gradual introduction or am I reading too deep into it?
Otherwise, I do like that pattern. Thank you.

. There is a reason for the small amount of substrate and it's mainly bc they all have had four hopper meals and are less prone to hiding as much. Being in a hatchling tub, I like to give them more room as they put on size. They all will be switching over to f/t rat fuzzies on the next feeding. Thanks for the compliment.

Re: 2017 Piebald
If I were ever to get a royal morph it would be this snake and I mean this snake, not just any pied. Very pretty-congratulations.

Oh, and the other thing is that the mouthful of cypress mulch and carefresh happened at her first feeding. I had the tubs cluttered up during that time due to their small size and very scary dispositions. They all have much more confidence and have grown nicely.

Re: 2017 Piebald
Very nice! Still one of the best looking BP morphs out there in my opinion.

Thanks dave! That's really funny and she hasn't missed her last 3 strikes. Their instincts are amazing when they are so young.

Thanks em! I most definitely agree with that. And the Eastern Indigo is the best looking colubrid imo.
