Where to Buy Snakes

Anyone know of any good shops to buy snakes from, specifically king snakes? And is it recommended to order snakes online or is it better to buy it in a store?

My first king came from Petsmart and he was in good shape but now I prefer to buy from reptile shows or breeders as opposed to chain stores. You'll get access to more variety and in many cases healthier animals.

i agree with you totally, but i have to say the pets mart in my area is very clean and the balls pythons are very clean. They are also kept separately. They aren't skinny as well.

Expos are an excellent place to get snakes and chat with the breeder before making a purchase (which I would *highly* recommend doing). Check around online for when the next one nearest you is!
