i don't know abt. motoros but i think all freshwater stingrays should be pretty similar...the ones i have are in my arrowana tank and i usually just behead a fish and throw it in after i have fed or when i am feeding an arrowana....they'll swim right over and eat them...just make sure the fish sinks...sometimes this means having to burst the air sac in the fish which is quite smelly and gross...but hey i think its fun. i use feeder guppies that i usually get in big bags for just a dollar a bag cos the fish shop guy says they breed so damn fast. The rays also cost something like 150 - 250 canadian depending on the species and size.

right now this guy is in an 80 gallon until I can get my 200 up to snuff.
its said that motoros and leopoldis are among the hardiest of the rays. i've only kept a couple of retics and this girl, so I'm not to sure myself. only problem i'm having with this girl is she is only taking ghost shrimp which is a killer on the wallet
