Re: Pictures of Speedy the blue tailed skink

Where in the US was it found? Likely either a five-lined skink or a juvenile/female broad-head? That blue-tail will eventually fade.

Is it eating well? and what?

From what I have read and researched, that the juvenile male and females will have the blue tail, but the males tale will fade away but the females can keep the blue tail. "Speedy" is about five inches long now nose to tail, and does eat extremely well. He is in the mini tall exo terra, and feeds on crickets and fluckers meal worms

The largest I have seen in the wild was about 6", but I have read the average is 5-8.5"
