Imperial Hybrid - Cali King x Pueblan Milk !
Just had to share a pic of my new acquisition .
It probably isn't to everyone's taste but I've wanted this little beauty from the moment I saw it ( about 7 months ago ) .

Funnily enough I haven't named any of my snakes until NOW !
I've called him "Jose" after the "Special One ".

Wow! He almost looked photoshopped.
I have a high white Cali King and a Pueblan milk snake, but it would never occur to me to attempt that kind of a cross.

Re: Imperial Hybrid - Cali King x Pueblan Milk !
I'm not big on morphs at all, and really not big on hybrids, however, that is a very pretty looking snake (looks like a child colored him with yellow and orange crayons, very cool).
Correct me if I'm wrong as I don't have experience with hybrids, but aren't most if not all of them infertile?

Re: Imperial Hybrid - Cali King x Pueblan Milk !
SMY, it depends on the speciesin question. most falcon hybrids (even those like kestrel-peregrine crosses) are fertile, and you can in turn breed them with a gyr or saker falcon. This is accomplished mainly via imprinted birds and artificial insemination.
In most mammals, like lion-tiger and horse-donkey, the majority of offspring are infertile. This is due to differing numbers of chromosomes, where the offspring has X number of chromosomes from the mother and Y number from the father, so it actually has an odd number of [airs rather than an equal set of both. THIS IS ONLY THE CASE IN MAMMALS (as far as i know), but could be the case in reptiles as well? :P

Hi . Thanks for the nice comments
As to fertility , I can only speak for this hybrid but it is indeed expected / predicted to be 100% fertile . In fact I'm hoping to get a similarly ( may be impossible ) stunning female off the same breeder in the coming months .
I've also already got an amazing female Avalanche Corn snake as a future breeding partner . Any offspring from those two will be part Cali King snake part Pueblan Milksnake and part Corn snake presumably . She's 99% white , with some very , very slight grey shaded saddles and the whitest Corn snake I've ever seen including online pix . Should be pretty babies

Edit : Also didn't realize you said 'in the majority" sorry Star, i'm reading to fast!
Sorry to hijack just wanted to point this out.
