Corn egg laying medium, what do you use?

What do you use in your egg-laying box for your corn to lay on?

sphagum....works well for me!
ive used vermiculite as well, but i like the moss better, nothing sticks

I don't know about corns but I like sphagnum moss ore vermiculite too, for house snakes and geckos.

I use moistened (not wet) sphagnum in the LAY box too. I remove the eggs to a ready INCUBATE box with moist (not wet) vermiculite and cover w/ sphagnum to incubate. If you use the vermiculite in the LAY box, there's a good chance the snake will get it all over her body and in the nostrils and mouth. I once had to clean a king several times to remove all traces of the vermiculite.

I use peat moss, I think the high acid level of peat helps lower fungus worries. It can cause some discoloration(yellowing) of the eggs, but if your candling your eggs the veins will still be plenty visible.
