New to the forum
Hey all, I'm new here and making that first post so I can do more research before picking up my first snake.
Considerations:
Green Tree Python
Brazilian Rainbow Boa
Dumerils Boa
Red Blood Python
So I'll be around lurking until I start my setup.

welcome!
the only one i would even suggest for a first timer would be the dumerlis. gtp's are notoriously difficult to keep, be it humidity requirements or the temper that can come with them. same goes for the brb. blood pythons are assholes too, from what I've red. other people may be more educated, but i wouldn't say those are very good for a first snake ;D

Welcome to the asylum 
OUt of the snakes you have named i would recommend the Dumeril as the most "newbie friendly" without knowing anything about your history
What animals have you kept in the past? Anything with specific humidity/heat etc requirements?
Whilst GTP's, BRB's and Bloods are considered more advanced snakes to keep i was warned off getting a GTP early in my "career" but i was happy that i could provide the requirements of the species and he is still "happy and healthy" and going strong

Welcome to the forum! I agree that out of the snakes you listed, the dumerils are the better first time snake snake.

I haven't kept reptiles yet but do own a couple fish tanks. I have been working in pet stores and handling these snakes, kinda the reason I went with those choices. The rainbow is really pretty, the dumerils we had was kinda cool but being a snake that sits on the bottom I thought they might be boring, the gtp is still young, red in color, but feeding, he seems to tolerate about 15 minutes of handling before getting grumpy. Unfortunately I can't be at work all the time to make sure he is misted like he should be. Some days I think he goes without and it looks like it shows based off how his shed is looking. The blood is probably last on my list mostly because of their mass although I did like the younger one I handled.
Of course I'm open to suggestions for snakes in the 4-7 ft range, looking for good colors or patterns but will probably stray away from regular ball pythons and the morphs that do look nice get way to expensive.

You really shouldnt be handling a baby gtp AT ALL! They are really only for display and any damage to the tail and the snake could be a gonner.
If you want a snake to be able to handle it then do NOT get a GTP.
