Is there a vet in the house?
Found this on one of my MGB's. Looks like a superficial hole in the flesh atop his nose area. Thoughts, anyone?
Thanks!

Re: Is there a vet in the house?
Do you have screen that he's pushing on? I had a GTP that had something similar on his head. He had pushed the skin back on a sharp edge of a ventilation hole in the plastic. When I got him his skin was peeled back and you could see his skull. With time, it healed up, though it's still a lighter color than the rest of his skin.

Not @ all. He's in a sterile tub with paper bedding.
Sorry, should've noted that. :-\

Look around the inside of the tub for a random rough spot. My Boa got something like that right after being put into a new tub before I finished his viv. I found a rough spot on part of the lid where a seem was.

Perhaps one of the holes still has the edge left on the inside by the drill bit. I'll check right away when I get home. I'm babysitting, Lol (Great-nieces and nephews)

It looks like your animal has found a rough spot to rub it's nose. Have you gotten home and found it yet?

Re: Is there a vet in the house?
Its a rub spot. One of my snakes did this when I used to use a drill to make holes, now I use a soldering iron makes clean holes with smooth edges!
