I can not believe how loud turtles can be. Clunk Clunk Clunk....LOL Sometimes I can not believe that I complain about turtle noise when I own Parrots...UGH!!!

I walked in on the RES that I was taking care of for a friend over the summer once. He had climbed up onto the filter and was sitting on the wire top of the cage. Scared the heck out of me because I didn't notice until he jumped off and into my lap (the enclosure was right next to my bed). They loved to make racket, as do my Coenbita Clypeatus (Carribean Hermit Crabs). They can be very loud!
