Frozen Mice - Missing Parts

My last shipment of frozen mice (small fuzzies and large fuzzies) I ordered from Layne Laboratories. When I received them I noticed that a lot of the feet and sections of tails are broken off so that I have a pile in the bottom of the bags of misc. parts. I still have about 13 small fuzzies and 25 large fuzzies (he's eating a small fuzzy every 4-5 days right now). I didn't think much of this at first, but the more I have thought on it, I'm wondering:

Is there any nutritional value that my kingsnake would be missing from not having the feet (and occasional leg) and the end part of tails? Not all of the mice or missing parts, but the majority of them probably are.

Thanks for any input.

I really doubt it, I mean are you missing out on anything by only eating chicken breast but not the leg?

Maybe a bit of calcium from the bones contained there, but nothing that the rest of the body wouldn't have more of.

stir the parts in with some chopped fish and feed it to a garter snake.

Problem solved.

Re: Frozen Mice - Missing Parts

Well now I'll have to get a garter.

Blood_shot: I eat lots of other food to supplement what my body needs. Wasn't sure if 'cutting out' one part of the sole food type would have any effect.
