Forum lay out
I don't know if this is just my problem, but the forum layout has gone weird for me. Like the logo of the snake is overlapping all the sub forums so it makes for hard reading, all the way down the page is repeated, I use an iPad if that makes any difference.

Re: Forum lay out
Try going to your browsers history, and clear out "site preferences" see if that fixes it...

Re: Forum lay out
My iPad has troubles with this too, grabbing some image or icon on the site and duplicating it all over the rest of the site. It usually fixes itself in awhile though.

Re: Forum lay out
Here is my perception.
Each page is generated by PHP scripting that writes a temporary HTML page and accompanying CSS file.
In simpler terms, since the site is not a static site (like say my web site, that always looks the same every time you visit) it is what we call a dynamic site, the content is always changing, every post to the forum alters the site from your last visit. (That is the PHP end)
Now, since browsers (Opera, firefox, Chrome, IE) read and display HTML the site creates a temporary HTML page and sends it to your viewing device (computer, android, smart phone...etc.)
along with each HTML page is a CSS file (Cascading Style Sheet) that instructs your browser to place buttons in a certain location, chose your screen colour, text fonts, etc..
I have seen more than once where I compose a message, and the results come back looking all wrong. This is from the CSS file failing to deliver correctly.
This will put the buttons in the wrong place, page formatting will be off, and fonts will be generic. Usually the avatars fail to display when this happens too.

Re: Forum lay out
One time it duplicated one member's avatar pic onto everyone's avatar space and into everyone's sig area in the thread I'd opened. I only have this problem on the iPad, so I'm sure it's a more common problem with Safari.
But I also only have these problems on this forum and on the thamnaphis forum, so it might be something in the coding for these two sites that Safari has the issue with.

Re: Forum lay out
I have never seen the CSS crash on Thamnophis.
You could be right about the safari, it's the only browser I don't use.

Yeah it started with the tools at the top like - user cp, FAQ, member list.....
Going all the way down the screen but now it's the snake image in the way.

Re: Forum lay out
The site works fine for me on my Android and my PC, whether I'm using Opera, Firefox or Chrome. Must be a Mac problem.
