Thinking about an Ackie.

I've started to put some consideration into preparing to get an Ackie for my first monitor in the future. It would be a LONG time from now, as I got a vine snake fairly recently. So does anyone have any thoughts about Ackies as a first monitor? How much can you expect to pay for one or two babies? Any other info, thoughts, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Thinking about an Ackie.

Ackies are the best starter monitors. Two species are common in USA. Yellows and reds and price depends on species. Yellows are around $200 and reds are around $300. Usually get a small price break for buying multiples.

Re: Thinking about an Ackie.

If you read the article infernalis posted a link to, please feel free to ask any questions you may not see answered there. If things go as planned, I will be getting my ackies this Thursday!
