Hello c:

Hi, I just joined a few minutes ago since my friend referred me, (you would know her as Kaetlinv) so I thought I would introduce myself and my babies. I live in Massachusetts and have really only this year really gotten into owning snakes.

My first baby is Medusa, who is a male normal ball python and the first snake I ever owned. He is about 8 years old now and I got him from PetCo. He is roughly 4 1/2 feet long. He's real sweet and gentle, and even if he is only a normal he has some great patterns and colors. He is the only ball python I've seen that has "target" markings on his back.

Second is my hypo corn snake Beloved. I got her from a breeder online, from the website Cornutopia. She is the most active and jumpy of my snakes, she never really seemed to get over her jumpyness. She's fast and I unfortunately have not gotten any good pictures of her, but I hope I will soon.

Third would be my Kenyan Sand Boa Dante. Dante is a juvenile anery male. I got Dante from a reptile specialty store down the street from my house, and he is probably the calmest and relaxed snake out of all of mine. He has the sweetest face and the softest black eyes, and anyone who has ever said that sand boas are snappy need to meet this little angel.

Fourth would be my other KSB Beatrice. She is a three year old normal female that I got from a guy on craigslist. When I first got her she was very skittish and squirmy, but after about a week of handling she has gotten over it completely. She is nowhere near as relaxed as Dante, but she is a little sweety that just needs a little more work.

Fifth would be my little Western Hognose Columbus. I got Columbus around the same time I got Dante. I had seen a picture of one online and instantly fell in love with these darling snakes and looked into one. He's a little brat and loves to hiss and puff, but he's never struck and I always go slow with him so he doesn't get too stressed out.

Lastly would be my pride and joy, my Brazilian Rainbow Boa, Aphrodite. I had been looking for a rainbow boa for a while, and had my heart set on a brb. Several months ago my mom and I had to put our bearded dragon Niko to sleep (RIP), and the reptile store where I got Dante and Columbus had recently hatched some beardies (I got to see one come out of the egg). We quickly realized though that we weren't ready to have another bearded dragon so soon. I had mentioned to Steve (the owner) how I was looking for a brb, and he told me someone nearby was actually selling his. I jumped at the chance, and instantly fell in love with the little beauty. She was born in January, and I can't fathom why her owner didn't want her. She is a sexed female and I got her and her setup for $125 which I know is a steal.

I will also be getting a new ball python tomorrow, a gorgeous mojave male. If anyone is curious about the store I got Dante and Columbus from it was Jabberwock Reptiles in Winchester MA, and Steve has some of the greatest snakes, lizards, and frogs available. If you live in Mass definitely check them out!

Thank you I currently don't have the room for a boa, but I would love to have one some day. They are so beautiful!
