Reptile aspen vs. Small animal aspen

Is there a difference between the two?
It's just that small animal aspen is so much cheaper...

Re: Reptile aspen vs. Small animal aspen

I buy my shredded aspen at Wal Mart for $3 a bag, and have never had any problems with it.

I even started using it with my rats, because it's actually cheaper than the common pine shavings.

Probably not. Just make sure there's nothing added to it. I prefer the beta chip form.

Is that in the garden center? I've never seen aspen there.
Unless it's in the pet center? I never pass by there, so idk.

In the pet center, same shelf as the pine, it's in the blue bag.

I will snap a picture, Got a new bag right here.

Ditto. This what I use, although I may switch to the bigger bags sold at Tractor Supply.
