Buying online

My local pet store has not impressed me with it's imported ball pythons.

I'm looking to buy a quality, female BP baby (normal phase) and am wondering where you guys would recommend shopping for it?

Any known breeders/sites that are good?

Re: Buying online

you can also check out kingsnake.com they have some good breeders on there, alot of people are iff-y about going on there, but ive bought about 8 snakes off kingsnake.com and all are great!!!! just make sure you ask alot of questions, to make sure they will have a nice response...

ive seen that longer and the more detailed the response, the better sellers (on kingsnake) to me it just tells me that they care bc they take the time to respond.

Check out The Snake Shop, found on Facebook.

Re: Buying online

Limey...you are in Alaska?

You may find it hard to find a breeder who will ship up there. But StudentoReptile gave you three good breeders. I also know a python breeder here in Maine that does great animals if you would like to contact him. They MIGHT ship up there but I am not sure.

Good Luck!

Re: Buying online

Before you call a breeder look into what it will cost to ship something overnight to yourself form any of the locations these breeders are at. If you can go to the breeder with the knowledge of the shipping hassle and the information they would need to make the shipment fast and safe then I don't see how it would be an issue. My guess is most of them don't want to do the leg work to ship to Alaska seeing as it most likely takes a few extra steps. You do the steps and pay the price you should have no issue getting the snake.

Just my thoughts...
