The end of my trip. This is what I found.
Over a few hundred miles of driving trails, and hiking dozens of miles I found ; Quail, Coyote, Roadrunner, Iguana, Donkey, Beetles, Ants, Cottontail, Jackrabbit, Scorpion, Lizards, A new friend, Centipede, Chipmunk, Horses, Bats, and even a MUSHROOM . I found everything but Chupacabra and a snake. I swear i'm wearing snake repellent.
Anyway, here are some pictures.

That looks like Big Bend , Texas? Anyway I always see the snakes in the mornings as they come out to warm up and evenings before sunset , but was all rattlers and lots of scorpions and Tarantulas too.

That's a fantastic trip you took, even if you didn't seen any snakes the views are awesome! I'd love to do a similar trip in the Grand Canyon (or something like it). Thanks for sharing those pics!!

I....don't...believe...it.... AGAIN??!?!
I was just packing up to head back Californeeway, and this coachwhip slithers past me and up in a tree in my yard. Probablly the SAME coachwhip that did this to me last time and almost hit me in the head!!! Miiiiles of hiking to come back and find him at the house....
If it is the same one he's grown quite a bit.

I am not a gecko freak but that is pretty damn cool. I mean to stumble across a clutch that just hatched, timing. Awesome

Yeah bro, coachwhips are ridiculously fast! Aggressive too! Besides rattlesnakes, these guys strike, lunge, go absolutely bat $hit crazy more than any other of the snakes I come across... Gopher snakes can be nasty to...
