Need some help identifing please

So I get a text message from my girlfriend this guy was attached to it. She said its on the loose at her friends house and her friend is freaking out.



Any idea what it is? Sorry for the crappy photo.

It's hard to tell from that photo.. the photo is too small.. but looks like it might be a king snake or corn snake of some sort?

The pattern makes me think it's some kind of rat snake, which is nonvenomous. Not sure, though.

Yeah that's what I told her. Whatever it is its harmless and probably good to have around your woodline. I couldn't tell from the crappy picture. Thanks!
