Sleeping croc skink pic
My red eyed croc skink is a heavy, heavy sleeper. I see her in her water dish, i've seen her chase worms and crickets, but when she as asleep, NOTHING wakes her up. Even picking her up! i pick her up, handle her...wiggle her, pet her....then she MIGHT crack an eye lid, sleepily. She may open them all the way and seems surprised...sometimes startled as to where she is. It's riduclous. Sometimes i have to wake her for cleaning, and she won't wake up until i've picked her up and placed her somewhere else *lol*
She's in a new drawer enclosure now. She's decided she likes to burrow into the moss and sleep.
Love her though : )
Sleeping "Dragon" (her name ; )

Re: Sleeping croc skink pic
I wish more people had these, so I could get more advice on her care. She seems to be thriving though, so that's good. I do know they do better in pairs, but I'm not even sure of her sex. I am fairly somewhat certain she's a she...lol
anyway...she's a doll, either way!

Re: Sleeping croc skink pic
Awe, simply adorable!
I remember when I was starting to consider getting a reptile that I looked into these for quite some time. But it was difficult to find one in my province so I backed down. Hopefully in the future I will be able to happily have one of my own!

Re: Sleeping croc skink pic
I think she was like 70 bucks. I'd never seen one before. We went into the shop and i was like, OMG!!! So we looked it up on our phones, didn't find much info...so we had the shop girl look on her computer. Got the gist of the care, and decided to go for it. She's been doing great.
Someone else had another thread of her on here....
http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/gener...caresheet.html
I posted a bunch of stuff here. Pics and care info, etc. I really do think you guys should get one : ) : ) : )

Re: Sleeping croc skink pic
Not too bad price wise, but I'm sure they are a little bit more expensive here but hopefully not by much. Soon I swear! And thanks for the information
