Introducing Bo.
Went to the All Animal Expo and again could not come home empty-handed. (We went for heat tape). Meet Bo, a Red Golden Pheasant. So far the chickens have pretty moch left him alone.
I've never seen a bird that *I* wanted, but this guy is just incredible! I think you'll agree.

He is awesome. I don't know if I could pass that up either and I don't like birds that much.

They molt their feathers about once a year, so those feathers will come back. They have pretty long tail feathers really.
Thanks for the compliments.
Thankfully, the chickens don't seem to mind him.
Everything we've ready says they're really easy to breed too..... So guess who's looking for a female already.....

Re: Introducing Bo.
well you got me there mate.....
i thought " Boa Boy Roy ",naming a thread...
" MEET BO "
i was expecting another great looking boa
instead i got a look at,the best looking bird,i've ever seen thats actually " OWNED " by a forum member
his colours are AMAZING,he's a very handsome beasty
i really like him mate
the design of his feathers and his colour scheme, are unlike anything,i've ever seen ( sorry,i don't think i used the correct terminology )
i hope he settles in ok and the chickens don't give him,too hard a of a time
cheers shaun

Re: Introducing Bo.
The tiger stripes in the back of his neck are what sold me. I've never seen feathers like that. I can't wait 'til he molts and his tail feathers come back. They're really long, reminiscent of a peacock almost.
