Help, Need Suggestions and Advice
So, I recently Acquired a Broken Glass viv, It has Severe Cracking all around, However I being the person that i am was unable to pass up potential free cageing.
Now to Improve The Cages Structural Integrity i had a few thoughts
Build an interior landscape With some form of foam or silicone, Seal it, Then give it a nice earth tone, with branches and perches sticking out of it
Tightly Wrap side and back Walls With Black Duct Tape
Any other thoughts, or suggestions based on my thoughts would be greatly appreciated, I would Love to Salvage this viv, It is the perfect size and shape for another GTP

Its not a sliding glass Front, It has Glass Walls hence the term glass viv :P

I agree with Kat. Not worth the effort in fixing this. You could easily find another free, used one in the amount of time to fix this one.

what if you were to cut plywood to fit and glue it to the outside of the broken glass... another option.. id see if i could remove the seals, id then build a plywood enclosure and use the good glass for the door and sides if you have enough... just a suggestion... without seeing it i cant say what you could use it for...

How big is it? If you are talking a 100 gallon or something like that, then it would be worth it to fix, and could be done very cheaply. If its something small, like 30 or less then I would definitely not bother. They are so cheap now that the risk doesn't make sense.
