Kings / Milksnakes
I am thinking of getting a Milk / King snake. I was going to get a corn and I still am if I can't get what I am asking about. My question is, what is some good looking types of milk / kings that aren't really expensive. Like 150$ being the most I will be willing to pay. I also don't want them to be very big 3-4 feet. I know these are very presise questions but just tell me the truth. Am I going to find a nice milk / king snake in that price range in Canada. Please post pics of the snake you mention, if you mention one.
Thanks,
Liam

Re: Kings / Milksnakes
I dont have any pics but the Arizona mountain kings stay smaller, and are easy to keep healthy. Not sure of the price in Canada

Re: Kings / Milksnakes
What about a grey banded king? These guys are truly a pleasure to own, mine is a fantastic eater, like most Kings are, and his temperament is great. And they are gorgeous, color and pattern wise. If you were to get one, try and get one that is already established on f/t rodents, i have heard the babies can be difficult to get started on rodents immediately. I don't know what the going price is on these guys, or what their availability is in Canada, but i do highly recommend them.
Here is my boy, Elvis

Re: Kings / Milksnakes
Thanks for the great advice so far guys. I would really like to find out the prices of these guys. Also kkgal how much was yours? Because most of the time its not that different in Canada. You just add like 30$ extra in Canada (guesstimation)

If you want to know the truth, he was free, he was my dad's snake, and my dad got tired very quickly of spot cleaning every other day with him, so Elvis became mine

Re: Kings / Milksnakes
No. I am in new Brunswick. A local breeder sells them for $100 occasionally.

Re: Kings / Milksnakes
Oh okay I thought you were in US. Thanks for the info. Korbin does this breeder have a website? If so does he have other kings and milk snakes? I would just like to know if he has a site because then I can look at the different prices and types.
