What are some good methods for removing a severe eyecap(looks like multiple sheds worth only on one eye )

Re: Eyecaps

Take a small piece of regular scotch tape and apply it gently over the eye. When you remove it the cap should go with it.

Re: Eyecaps

I would put it in a moist pillow case, or let it sit in a damp moss filled tupperware (positioned over or near a heat source) before doing the tape thing. The tape thing can easily damage the eye if done incorrectly. I would use it only as a last resort. If you do, make sure it's the simple scotch tape, not anything stickier like duct tape or something.
You can also dab a bit if mineral oil on the eyes, and do the damp towel and snake in a damp pillowcase. It may have to wait until the snake has it's next full shed, however.
Took a couple sheds for my two rescued ball pythons to recover from multiple eye cap build up. good luck!
