Cool New to the forum

Hey I'm new I own a Panamanian boa he is about 3 feet long had him for a year he's a slow grower but he does have a small breathing problem he is wheezing a little no foam or bubbles comming out of mouth or noose I did take him to the vet she did not tell me anything I dident know already she just wanted me to do a bunch of test that cost 1300$ I do not have this kind of money if u do have any tips or tricks plz let me know and if u are even reading this I will repost if not

hello and welcome

imo,the vet fee's you quoted are very expensive

testing for a specific infection should not cost much,tests such as trachael wash,or swabs cultred from the trachea or oropharynx

you need to find a decent reptile vet mate

if you have caught a respiritory problem in the very early stages,simply upping your hot end temperatures by 4 or 5 degrees F,for 4 or 5 weeks, can sort it out

i have a few carpets that wheeze,leading up to and during the shedding proccess,the wheezing stops right after they shed

Not sure about that species of boa but usually ( what I see with a lot of other boa's) is raise the humidity, try posting in the boa section its a lot more likely you'll get better answers there. Welcome to the forum, lots of people willing to help here!

I agree, bump the humidity. You may want to think about doing a humidity chamber treatment.
