Sav food

So I need ideas on were to look for food.

I cannot find organic shrimp anywere.
Quail eggs are a maybe... but everytime i ask the guy on kijiji he doesnt understand that i want them fertilized :/

So far im feeding my sav Fishing night crawlers, and crickets. the diet is 80% crickets and 20% worms which is the worst diet ever.

I plan on going to look for snails soon... when it warms up here.

My apple snails are not breeding and i do not know why.

Im thinking about breeding crayfish.

My roach colony is growing untill september.

i just want to feed a good diet to my sav... but its tough when i cant find anything!

Re: Sav food

Breeding them is pretty simple and cheap, though it takes some time too. Plus you get to manipulate their nutrition then. I know there are some strange laws in Canada though about crayfish so not sure how that works in Ontario
