Website help
I'm trying to change the layout of my website to make it new, improved, bigger, better, and updated. (Are those enough adjectives for you?) Anyway, I use 1and1.com for my website. First question is, is anybody familiar with that? Second question is, I want to change my image gallery from the slide show I am using now into thumb nails that when clicked can be enlarged. HELP!!!!

Re: Website help
I dumped one&one, used to have them years ago, and I had to fight with them to take my own site names with me.
would this style gallery work for you?

Re: Website help
That's pretty much exacty what I want, except when you click on the thumb nail, instead of opening up a new window or loading a new page, I want it to just pop up larger in the same window. Am I explaining that well enough?

Re: Website help
I called them. It turns out I can't do that. Nor can I update my page until I download Firefox, but my computer says the Firefox download is corrupt. FML.

Re: Website help
Okay, there's an option to add my own code. Can I do it that way?

Once a site is up and running, I just pay the renewals and that's that.
My rocky roost sites have been online for almost a decade, I have only changed the layout 3 times since I started them.
all are mirror images of the original, so there was no work involved aside from uploading the code to the server folders.

Re: Website help
This whole situation is stressing me out. Does that website host thing allow for what I'm talking about? Will I be able to carry my layout over?

Re: Website help
So I kind of sort of got it somewhat closer to what I wanted, but it still looks like crap.

Same here
Don't remember why I left though.
Think I just didn't like the service.
Hmm... *looks up infernalis' hosting provider*
Dollar less per month then my current host is with what looks like the same offerings.
Whats the transfer speed like? My current host limits transfer to 2mb/sec per hosting account.
