D@#$N well this makes the second time in 12yrs of snake keeping i got tagged! i was handling my 15 yr old bci this mornin and every thing was cosher than when i was putting him back in his tank BAMM!! he nailed me on the forearm no warning no signs of aggression nthin just tagged me! huh must of woke up on the wrong side of the hide box i guess but hey twice in twelve years with dozens of snake i guess thats a pretty good track record non the less. LOL. any ways im bored so i thought i would share. have a good day everyone, hehehe!

OUCH is right, i have never been tagged but that sounds like a doozy!! I only have 1.1 ball pythons, and have not had the luxury of being tagged. I hope one day to have the delightful opportunity, but untill then I just have to read about other people's encounters. LOL

well enitally it didnt hurt but after a few seconds it stings like heck, no real damage as i didnt pull away and he didnt lock on he ameadiatly let go so that was good,still a mager shock for a snake that has never shone aggresion,but still not as bad as my burm bite last year (thank god) cause that one really hurt!
