Food chain
SO, here's where i admit to poor planning. The other day i moved my pyxie frog to a ten gallon tank, and decided to set it up near my snakes. It's been fine for like, two days, but now i see my error. The frog is trying to catch the corn snake. The baby hognose snake (who bit me tonight) is trying to catch the frog *lmao*
The corn snake is wriggling around....the frog is actually Jumping against the glass to try to get the corn snake, and each time the frog jumps...the hognose stretches out and stares at him. Hilarious. I'm glad i noticed though, or they'd all tire themselves out...but i don't see how i could miss it since that frog is smashing himself up against the glass and splattering water everywhere each time he jumps *lol*

Re: Food chain
You're right korbin, because if he hadn't been out stirring everyone up...tisk tisk!!
I should really weigh the frog. Maybe i will, and post about it. He/she wasn't much bigger than a 50cent peice when we got'em. We saw a male taking up half of a ten gallon tank, who was bigger than my head, at the last reptile show...and they said he wasn't full grown! Pyxie frogs are interesting because the males actually get bigger than the females. I've heard him croak once too...it was so funny! It sounded like a burp! lol Gee, imagine fatty there burping!

Re: Food chain
btw, it was late last night and i didn't want to deal with moving the frog's tank upstairs, so i took a paper and taped it on the end so he couldn't see the corn snake anymore...and he stared at it...then whipped around and stared right at me like "hey! why'd you change the view??" so funny. I was laughing all night at all the antics, bites, etc. lol
