What kind of boa is this?
Now that i'm more experienced, i want to own another boa. I had this boa in 2008 but had to sell it because i didn't really know what i was doing, so i didn't want to mess anything up and cause it to die. Here are pictures.

Re: What kind of boa is this?
I'm not a boa person, and I'm sure someone here will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's just a red-tail boa. Not sure if it's a specific kind of RTB or anything like that though.

Re: What kind of boa is this?
If I recall correctly and easy way to tell has to do with the saddles but I don't remember the rules, sorry.

Re: What kind of boa is this?
The shape of the red markings on a bci is also slightly different from a bci to a bcc. It's sometimes hard to tell with all the poor bloodlines.
Here is a picture of one of my bcc guyanas.

Re: What kind of boa is this?
If you don't know all the bci and bcc lingo BCI means Boa constrictor imperator and Bcc Means Boa constrictor constrictor. Yeah definetly not BCC

Re: What kind of boa is this?
First - sorry to the op for asking in his thread but I think my answer will help him as well.
So this is a BCI with some sort of pastel gene?
The colours are spot on on my iPhone. Same as the snake.

Re: What kind of boa is this?
It looks like a BCI to me, and it can be hard to tell the difference because of the colouring and markings of the tail, but a Red Tail Boa would have a significantly brighter red tail. I’ve been told that the marking on the stomachs are a dead give away as well.
