Jeweled Lacertas

This is really long I apologize... please try and be kind to me.. I'm trying my best

As I said in my first post I have a mated pair of Jeweled Lacertas I bought my male last year and I bought my female a few months ago, she is of the correct size and approx age and we did our research that said they can live in pairs since they do so in the wild

If you are not familiar with Jeweled lacertas the adult males can be between 18 and 22 inches and weigh close to 100g (they are mostly tail, very agile and very pretty) the females at breeding age are roughly half the size of males weight wise and about 4 inhes shorter. I have them in a 55 gal tank with all the appropriate temperatures and humidities multiple hides and multiple basking spots (my husband and I researched the heck out of them before we even bought our male)

ANYWAYS

since they require a cooling period and it was the wrong time of year we decided to put them together and not cool them off thinking that they wouldnt mate, well 1 week before we went away on our honeymoon they mated alright, before we left I seperated them so she is in her own tank with a lay box just in case there really was not any info as to how long it would take her to lay eggs but just in case when I came home I checked her box and she had laid 12 eggs I went and got an incubator set them up and am now incubating I had a bunch of eggs stuck together and was scared to pull them apart so I left them together since they all looked good, white and firm no dimples

here are my questions:

1) should I pull the eggs apart gently?
2) my male seems to search for her and refused his meal yesterday (very very rare) should I put her back with him
3) I know shes going to lay more than 1 clutch but how do I know if the eggs are good?

Re: Jeweled Lacertas

I don't know if they are anything like bearded dragons but i would be very wary of the male over breeding her and causing stress.

temperment wise they are nothing like beardies they're a bit more... tempermental my husband is home keeping an eye on them, I was worried about that though too hesaid they're pretty much back to business as usual he hasnt tried to breed with her again mind you when they were breeding before it was her who would initiate she would run up to him poke him with her nose and then lift her tail
