BRB question
I have had my snake for about 3 weeks now and she hasn't pooped. Is that normal? She eats one f/t hopper mouse a week. All her temps and everything are were they should be. I just was wondering how often they poop?

Re: BRB question
i would say a hopper mighe be too small of a meal, and she is not having any "left overs" ... when i 1st got my baby BRB she was eating rat pups, then quickly got mice... now just a year later she can already eat rats...
OR...
she is building up a big ol' poop... lol

Re: BRB question
The hopper leaves a very noticeable lump for about 36-48 hours I can't imagine she could take much bigger.

Re: BRB question
Brian, no need to worry yet. Some Brazilians just seem to "save it up" for several meals before leaving you their gift. You can stimulate their giftmaking abilities through a forced soak in warm water or by massaging that area. If you are worried, after her third or fourth meal, stop feeding for a week or two until she makes a deposit.
Good luck,

Re: BRB question
The humidity is 80% never drops below 70% hot side temp is 85 F and cold 76 F ambient 76-80 depending on time of day. She's always cruising around during the night and stuff. Heres a pic from a week ago I can't get a more current one because she went into blue yesterday. First shed soon! Also she's about the diameter of a roll of quarters at her biggest part but she's getting bigger every meal it seems. Last weight was 45g a week ago before her third meal with me. She's two and a half months old also.

Re: BRB question
Roll of quarters and 45 grams does not square well. By the time mine are quarter-sized, they usually weigh over 100 grams. I still would not worry, but I'd skip a meal and see if she clears her system. (Note she will probably not go now until she sheds.)

Re: BRB question
Thanks! And thats just a very rough estimate of how big she is. That was her first weight with me before I switched her to hoppers (she was eating pinkies) Her width then was roughly half the size as now. I will get a new weight as soon as I can.

Re: BRB question
Heres a little update on Trinity for everyone. Yesterday was the perfect day. She ate then a couple hours later she had a perfect shed then I woke up this morning to a poo in the cage (i'll never complain about her not pooping again lol). I also got engaged yesterday! So life is great now. Thanks for all the advice everyone and telling me not to
