Cbr (humidity)

So, i have had a nice 24/7 battle with humidity between me and my CRB's ever so dry tank. SO, as of now.... i have:

Big ol' bowl of water that is wide under the heat lamp.
Two towels that i moisten everyday on top of the screen
I Spray the thing like 3 times+ a day
I have another big *** bowl of damp moss.

As of now... i am keeping it at around 60%. sometimes as low at 50%
If i leave it alone for over two hours... it will go around there. And lets be honest. It's not possible to check every two hours. When i do keep an eye around it... I can get it around 70-80% which i am allot more comfortable with. But still. It's a huge pain in the *** to keep the thing up.

So, i suppose my question IS... What else can i do? And please offer any other suggestions in as great of detail as you can. I mean, i know its in an aquarium. But damn.

Extra info: 50G Tank (Wish it was bigger), It's away from drafty places and it is quite hot alot of the time. Temperature is nothing to worry about.

Ditch the damp towels, and the screen top. Replace it with plastic wrap, or tin foil. Preferably plastic wrap.

My monitors current enclosure is well sealed, its always at 80-95% humidity, and I never need to mist it.

Are you using an incandescant heat lamp... they dry out the air.

For baby that require high humidity you should keep them in a plastic tote or tub. Until they are least about a year old. Use a heat pad or heat tape under 1/4 of the tub. Be sure to drill some holes for air flow. Set your water bowl in the middle or a little towards the warm side. This will keep the humidity up. If it's still low just move the water closer to the warm side. If done right you should only have to mist a couple times a week just to bring it up a little.

For my bloods I have coconut fiber a lot of fake plants a screen top but keep a sheet of plexiglass over half of it. The plants do help keep humidity in plus helps with hides. Every 3 days I get the fiber good and wet. This seems to work with all of our snakeys. We keep a bit of everything and have had great sheds with all, of course just the bloods have the plexiglass though
