I've been poking around the herp comunnity for a while now, but I have yet to find anyone else in the midwest.... I think I've seen one show in Ohmaha, Nebraska - but thats quite the drive. I doubt that I'd get to go. So where are all the Kansas folk, and why don't they organize? I'd die to go to *any* show... there just isn't any...

Does anyone know/have heard of anything at all in Kansas? It's getting lonely... o.o;

well I couldn't find one any closer to you, but you could use this as an opportunity to go all out for one of the big shows like Daytona once a year, of course your welcome to join me and my partner for Arizona and Texas shows but thats a drive too lol

I went to school at the University of Kansas and recently went back there to visit my boyfriend's family for the holidays. Since our last trip to KS last year we have become herp lovers. During our trip we also had a hard time finding anyone who knew anthing about the herp world. Let me know if you find anything else going on out there. With all those never-ending fields, you'd think something would be hiding out there, and therefore people who are interested in them!

Wow... Someone else from Kansas...

I live in Wichita.... There is a really good (so I have heard) show in Kansas City in April. I think its April 13th.

I'm pretty far from Wichita myself... about 30-some-odd miles south of Topeka... one of the little po-dunk towns that pretends it's huge.... o.o; I think I have an aunt there though.

Hmm... My birthday's in April... a show sounds like a darn good present to me...

My birthday is April 13th, so I should get in free, right? Don't they give out free variable kingsnakes to birthday girls attending the show?

Now all I have to do is get myself from Canada, down to Kansas.
