Finally Found Him!

So our baby salmon boa went missing 2-3 weeks ago we've been stressin tearing everything up searching for hin. Last night I was informed by my daughter that after messing with her pregnant rat that I didnt close the cage all the way. Needless to say I was in deep doodoo with my hubby. But then as we were in bed the dog barks... And look shes found both :-) such a good doggy!
Now I just have to think of a way to break it to my daughter that her ratty wont be commin home...

Re: Finally Found Him!

Thanks Jenn we did like that rat but its better off where its at now... the rat bit her finger a couple of days ago so in my book its exactly where it belongs.

I dont put up with biters after my daughter almost died from a bite when she was 5. It got infected and with her pulminary heart valve being too thick the infection basically got stuck there. Had to be on IV for 9 days in Childrens hospital and with that I got rid of all my snakes and rats up till recently figured we would try again now that shes older.

Re: Finally Found Him!

Bite the kid, get eaten. Yep, sounds like a fitting punishment. Glad you found the snake! Maybe you should leave her out to patrol and punish bitey rats.

Re: Finally Found Him!

Had him in a custom cage and some how the latch got undone either by the kid or the cats. So glad he is back! Now I just look at him and laugh he's so dang FAT! Of course I laugh when the kid aint in the room she was pretty upset

Re: Finally Found Him!

So when the rat bit did it draw blood? Just curious.

Also glad you found your snake and that your snake got such a well fed meal before coming back home
