Re: picture update!
VERY VERY Nice! I am gonna do something similar I think with a little extra money. How much did all of it cost you (not including the tank, waterbowl, and electronics)??
Also what is that cord that is in the tank? And are you only using Sani-Chips to get that different level?
It is just so so cool! And your hoggie has certainly gained a good bit of girth! Probably twice the size as my little one.

My girl is in a 25 gallon right now...and I am thinking of upsizing to a 30 or even 40 gallon when she is at her biggest. So no I don't personally think it is to big LOL I got 2 tanks that are bigger and being taken up by animals that are either old for their kind or just short lived in general so I am sure I will have a tank opening up eventually for me to transfer her into. After a really good scrubbing of course.
Where did you get all the different fake plants? Did you have to tear apart other types of decoration for them or what?

Re: picture update!
well the one that is kinda deserty looking was off a old crapy decoration and the little bush looking ones are for like turtles. i had them floating in my water dragons cage and they are like 5.99 for a pack of like 5 or 6 i think. i think they really add a good touch to the cage. all my friends call me wierd for spending so much money on these little things but its the little thing that really bring out the natural look imo lol i would really like eco earth and really just go all out but it will be way to dirty and i hate messing with the stuff lol. also i have a question, when do you think my snake will shed because i got him on april 16 and he hasnt shed yet so im not sure if i should be worried or not.

Re: picture update!
My girl, I bought her in Februrary and she has only shed for me once...about 2 weeks ago. So what was it...6 months before she shed once? Honestly if your guy is eating, pooping, and gaining weight he will shed eventually.
My husband thinks I am crazy for buying all this stuff also, but I think a more natural environment can lead to a happier snake. Which is why I hate using plastic tubs/bins to hold ANY animal. I think the next step for both my hoggie and my two leopard gecko girls is to get more greenery for their tanks. Give them more places to hide out in the open without feeling overly exposed.
Have you noticed your guy more out and about since you did all that stuff to his tank? I never see my girl...always hiding underneath her water bowl. Which makes me sad
