Denver Reptile Expo

What a great experience for me and my fiancée. This was our first expo, it seemed a little smaller than I had hoped for but it was still overwhelming to be around so many people and animals. We had to go around and then process everything and then go back to see more to make sure we didn't miss anything. Four other members of our herp club attended and it was great to have them show me the desert morph of bp's that I had no idea Pro Exotics first imported, expensive too $2000+. I was told that this show had twice the vendors of the last show so I hope it keeps growing. Lots of ball pythons, insects, and amphibians. I was very glad to get some FT feeders as I am running low. In case anyone noticed a guy with a camera hanging around the Pro Exotics booth they were there filming for a documentary/pilot reality show about breeders and people who buy from them. They filmed us setting up a date to tour Pro Exotics facility next saterday! They will also be visiting our home in COS tomorrow to do some filming of our collection! I am so excited and thank you SSnakeSS for making this cool opportunity possible!!

Re: Denver Reptile Expo

I also had a great time at the show. That's awesome that you get to be featured in that story! I was kinda wondering why there was a camera man at the Pro Exotics booth...

Re: Denver Reptile Expo

Yeah I said to Jackie ( my fiancée) I wonder if he is with Sophie the lady with Mentorn Media from London, then I heard his voice and thought oh yeah he is from the other side of the pond

I am really glad everything worked out with meeting up with you guys Steve, Jess, Petra, and Judy. Good to have friends that have similar interests

BTW, we stopped by Reptile Jungle and guess who picked up two hognose for super cheap??!!!

Got a male and female from different clutches and we think the male is a green phase!!

$60.00 each! They have like 3 left I think 2 males and one female!!

Re: Denver Reptile Expo

Sunday was some fun filming. I guess it being a smallish camera and only 3 people made things not as scary as I thought it would be. Chad (owner of Pro Exotics) was a friendly guy and really knows his stuff about snakes. He particularly liked out Rosy Boas because I guess he grew up in Cali and caught them as a kid. Its funny that "Reality TV" really isn't reality at all lol they had us do lots of takes and different angles of stuff. We did some feeding shots since conveniently Sunday is feeding day and just did a lot of talking. I can't wait for next Saturday for the tour Our club scheduled for Pro Exotics!!
