I'm building a bigger home for my red tail. Need some advice on heating. Obviously can't use under the tank heaters.

I would also say Flex watt and or a radiant heat panel ....

you can use a uth if your up to it, if you cut a hole in the bottom. then buy a piece of glass that will cover the hole, silicone it in then put the uth under it or flexwatt attacth thermostat and you got belly heat. very nice start!!
