We have had 3 new babies come to us in the last few days and Ithought I would show them off to everyone.
First is Socratese he is a Pastel Leopard Gecko. He came to us as a rescue. He had some medical issues that the rescue took care of and now we are medicating and nursing him back to health.
Second is d i c k an unsexed Fan Toed Gecko. He also came to us as a rescue of sorts. He got his name because in the process of trying to get him from the tub he was delivered in to the habitat we set up for him he escaped and lead us on a merry chase around the living room. Unfortunately in the process of catching him he threw his tail. Good thing they grow back. I have never seen that before and it was a little creepy watching the tail wiggle around all on its own.
Lastly is Zues a 5' male Colombian red tail Boa. He came to us from a very nice couple who needed to downsize and were adamate that he be given away to a carefully selected home rather than sell him to a home where he might not get proper care. We fortunately impressed them as being the right home for their Boa.
