Black Western Hognose

Apparently this was wild caught and released but the colours are gorgeous. Or lack of I should say since its black and gray. Are there black hognose morphs like this out there for sale?

There are ones similar in color... but not with that intense black pattern. Axanthic Hognoses.

I personally think it's funny they said 'Tea Cup' size. I'm like,"Oh brother... Now they expect to call snakes TEA CUP SIZED."

Re: Black Western Hognose

The snake in this video is NOT a western hognose. It is a very typical, baby, eastern hognose. Heterodon platyrhinos.

Re: Black Western Hognose

I thought the estern hogs had noticeably different noses than the westerns. My tan & kind of green western has the same markings on his head and flare as this one does. Seems to have the same nose shape, too!

Re: Black Western Hognose

Its deff. an eastern hognose. First off look at the environment where the guy found it. Baby easterns look pretty similar to westerns.
