Danger! High Voltage!
As requested, I'm posting some pictures of my jungle/jaguar sibling, High Voltage. This guy was produced in 2008 by Mike Curtin and is a clutchmate to the famous Jigsaw. Volt is a great snake and just gets brighter and brighter with every shed. It's hard to capture the true yellow in a picture, but in the flesh he is pretty much highlighter yellow and velvet black. He's my pride and joy and just blows my mind every day! I need to get some more pictures- he's grown quite a bit since these ones.
Here he is:

Re: Danger! High Voltage!
No problem Shaun. I know the whole clutch was 75% jungle/25% coastal. I am not sure of what the parents were. This past year, Mike paired Jigsaw with a jungle and got another aberrant jag (Link). I've seen Link too, and he's adorable and gorgeous. Volt is very clean with only a single black scale in a few of his yellow patches; these only appeared a few sheds ago with age. I've got one of Lilly's babies- a 75% jungle/25% coastal jaguar female (TiVO) that I intend to put with Volt when she grows up. Also, I'm thinking of putting Volt with my female DJCP, Illusion, this year. The offspring would be 50% jungle, 37.5% diamond, and 12.5% coastal. While both the would-be parents are beautiful, I'm not sure I want to have that many different things in the mix. I also have a pure JCP, but she isn't quite up to a size I'm comfortable breeding yet. She should be next year though.

Awesome snake Willow
I especially like his head pattern. Kind of looks like a leaf or a flower or something like it but it looks really cool.

Re: Danger! High Voltage!
Thanks Grimleo- carpet head patterns are one of my favorite things about them (well there are so very many things about carpets to love!). I've seen such variety- ones that look like pirate skulls, flowers, tv sets, smiley faces, angry faces..you never know what you're going to get.

That's a handsome snake you have there! I can only hope my JCP turns out to be half as nice as High Voltage!

for ever the scientist miss willow
thats perfectly correct on paper but mother nature dont do paper
so the clutch were 75%jungle jags = those who carry the jag gene
75% jungle jaguar siblings = volt and the other sibs
percentages are just theoretical percentages
im thinking jigsaw must have been crossed with a 50% jungle jag to get those percentages
mike must have put jag on jag ?
or jigsaw on jag ?
i think he's still trying to find and proove out jigsaw being a different gene mutation to the normal jaguar gene mutation
or if jigsaw is a variation of the jag gene
although volt technically has some coastal in his dna imo he looks like a very clean PURE jungle.
technically the percentage of coastal may be a lot less than 25%
no matter what he's a clean carpet...!!
if i had volt my choice of breeding would be with a nice clean jaguar (tivo)
cheers shaun

Re: Danger! High Voltage!
Shaun, Luke Snell is also a great Morelia guy (Morelia in Wonderland). Bling is from him- he has some of the nicest DJCP intergrades I've seen. I know Mike is trying to figure out what's going on with Jigsaw and he might borrow Volt to cross a sibling back into the line and see if there's anything carried in the sibs. Volt does have a very uniquely vibrant, deep yellow to him.

Re: Danger! High Voltage!
Absolutely stunning Willow. I appreciate you and Shaun name dropping. It gives me an idea of who to keep my eye on next year! Curious. What does your shirt say in the third pic?
