why did you choose your snake

Idk if this has already been talked about but I thought it would be fun. Why did you choose your snake or snakes? It might help people decied what they should get first or their next snake. I have a jungle carpet and I got mine because I wanted a snake that did not hide all the time but was still easy to hold and I like the way the head looks lol. Also please let me know if this has already been done so I can read it. As I have just. moved my frilled dragon in a four foot long and wide cage so have an empty tank and snakes are addictive!

i got my first snake, a cali kingsnake, because i didn't want something big as my first snake and she was very tame at the reptile store. she was also on sale as the store went out of business and i got a good deal on her.
