Crickets?..

Would just like to know what the deal is with feeding crickets to snakes? I read a post from a different forum about feeding crickets to baby corn snakes(at least that's what they did at petco) and I was wondering if that is a bad idea?

*is still new to snakes for the most part* forgive me >.<

Re: Crickets?..

Crickets are bad for snakes except insectivores like the smooth green or rough green.

And even those snakes prefer to prey on arachnids.

they may be great for certain lizards, but are not good snake food,.
