I got a question
Ok so dad say that I wont want to many snakes cause they will start to smell up my house.... so for all you snake freaks out there do to many snake star to smell really bad????

if you let them sit in their own filth, yes. lol actually anything you let that happen with will smell haha, to be honest snakes are IMO one of the easiest things to take care of, spot clean them every couple days or whatever, make sure they have fresh water, temps are right and humidity is good, and youre set. i find my leopard geckos smell 100x worse then snake poop. So to answer your question, no, snakes do not smell bad unless you do not take care of them, in which case i would have no experience since i take care of mine lol

lol its potent stuff haha, what smells with snakes is regurge, those are quite nasty. None of mine have ever regurgitated but i have smelled others, its not too pretty lol, anyone have stories of walking into a room and smelling that special funk? lol

We have many snakes, and our house does not smell from it.
The dogs smell worse than a snake could.
Just take care of the cages.

The nice thing about gerbils is that since they live in arid environments, they don't pee nearly as much as rats/mice. Now if only I could get one of my snakes to eat one.

actually i read somewhere that it does, or that they leave little spots or trails of urine every so often at least lol

They rust up metal running wheels rather quickly because of this.
I like the new plastic wheels, easy to clean and no rust.
