The tree is a 15 foot crabapple. It doesn't get any bigger and i got 12 foot step ladder. The branch i was taking picture from is only 3 feet off the ground. I was a my knees to make it look like they where higher up.

Nice pics Wayne. It's cool to see how easy they blend into the back ground. Here's some more. Brazilain rainbow 2 015.jpg

Re: Outdoors reptile pictures.

I also had a friend there to help if they try to get away. The only one that try to make a break was my diamond x jungle, and that was in the grass. (didn't get more than 3 feet and i had him) My three carpet and ball seem to really like being in the tree. My borneo just sat there.

Re: Outdoors reptile pictures.

Have you guys ever had snakes pick up mites from being outside? I had a mite outbreak shortly after I took some snakes outside two years ago, but I think it might have been from a rescue snake I took in. I was just wondering if anyone thinks mites might be a risk if taking snakes outside to play in the grass and trees?

Re: Outdoors reptile pictures.

I never picked up any mites taking my snakes outside. But then again it's not real common, I took my corn outside once (all those photos are from the same day) the ball python has been outside 4 times in 2 years, They move so slow that there is little risk of your snake getting away.

I'm not adventurous enough to put any of my garter snakes on the ground, they are too fast and can get away quickly.
