"Buck" the alpha rat
This big guy is "Buck" he is freaking huge! He also rules the harem. He's a happy rat. Especially since he will not be fed off any day soon. He's got work to do.
Look at the size difference......
Somehow, he sired this short hair rat, Not sure how this gene came into the mix....
Why do rats have such huge nads?

Re: "Buck" the alpha rat
Years ago we kept rats and were also surpirsed by the size of their 'nads - they must be getting on for the highest ratio of body/nads in the animal kingdom

Re: "Buck" the alpha rat
I know- rats and mice have ridiculous 'nads! Mice are even worse than rats; I have no idea how they walk- I guess that's why they kind of shuffle...lol. Maybe the massive size is because of how prolific they are? I don't know, but either way it's pretty funny.

Wayne, don't you find that the little buggers spill the water dish out all the time?

Re: "Buck" the alpha rat
Actually they do well with the bowl.
They kept climbing on the water bottle and trying to get out, all the noise was driving me nuts, so I confiscated the bottle.
They tend to shovel junk into the water before they can spill any.
