Most snakes will eat rodents and get everything they ever need. There are only a few species of small colubrids, like garter snakes, and aquatic snakes, like elephant trunk snakes and tentacled snakes, that really eat fish. Unless you have a snake that eats fish in the wild, it's not necessary and the rodents will be all it ever needs. If you're worried about nutrition, buy a high-quality lab diet type rodent food.
