ksb question
I have a male that is 12 inches long.The person i got it from said it was 1.5 years old.Does that size seem normal he is pretty skinny too.He is about the size of a slim jim in body width.Thanks

i beleive a ksb is a kenyan sand boa... my ksb is like 8 monts old and she is already the size of maybe a nickle...

Hey, Faequine, don't feel bad--though I knew what ksb means from surfing around the forum for months, I'm not so sure what a slim jim is!
Anyway, if you actually have a male, sandboaman, his size may be pretty normal. Here:
Kenyan Sand Boa
it says the males are much smaller than the females and not as heavy-bodied.

Don't worry about it's size. Just feed it appropriately and it'll grow appropriately while in your care.

That's it. Gotta have room for eggs! Males don't need the extra room. Obviously all species don't have this great a difference in size between the sexes, but some do, and the current theory I've seen is that it facilitates reproduction & hence, survival of the species.
