Re: Pooping ETB question
My 1.0 ETB likes the humidity a bit low. I keep him at a peak of 80-90% right after I mist, he drops to about 40% before I mist again, and he keeps trucking. My temps are about the same as yours, but my basking spot hits about 96, but it varies as he moves away from it.
ETBs should poop about 1 every 3 times you feed him. If the third feeding goes by and he hasn't crapped yet, hold back the next feeding and give him a week to poop. If he doesn't poop by that time, take him out and handle him, make him use his muscles, the movement may help his (hahahahha) movement. If that doesn't work after a couple days, give him a 15-20 minute soak in some 85% water. Use a thermometer, it will feel cold, it isn't. If he doesn't poop in a couple days after that, see the vet.
They do seem to be pretty efficient with processing stuff, so don't be surprised if he's not pooping as often as you'd like.
Edit: Handling is one of the best ways just to make sure that they're moving around, often in a cage, they just sit there and are content to coil or hunt, neither of which uses their body much. Don't be afraid, their bites hurt like a crapload of crap, but it will get used to it.
